Speaker Bios

John Diaz
Beginning in 1979 a continuous yoga practice has lead John to studies in Alignment, Anatomy, Dance Pedagogy, Kinesiology, Ideokinesis, and a professional career in Dance starting in 1989. He has taught yoga and dance with a Buddhist slant  in America, Europe, and Mexico. John's hope is to facilitate the stability, adaptability, radiance, grace, and directness inherent in everyones clarification of existence. 

Vanessa A. Puniak, M.A.
As a management consultant, Ms. Puniak has conducted leadership development, team building, diversity awareness, and global business programs with over 20,000 participants in academic institutions, health organizations, international corporations, government and non-profit groups during the past 18 years in the United States, Costa Rica, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. She is a published travel writer/photographer, enjoys international film and works to challenge bigotry and discrimination through dialogue and community building.

Janice Gagnon, B.A, M.A, M.A.T

Ms. Gagnon has 25 years of experience in the business world, working for 3 different Fortune 500 companies, (Colgate-Palmolive, ATT, and Knight Ridder) in marketing and media communication and owns her own public relations - marketing firm involving campaigns both locally and nationally.  She sits on the Advisory Board at Cal State University Fullerton - Irvine, Legacies Program, is a guest lecturer at Chapman University, and is the President of the Advisory Board for the UNESCO Art Miles Mural Project. One of her areas of focus is social entrepreneurship, which focuses on the aspect of social change agency from all perspectives: the individual, the nonprofit and the corporate world
